In celebration of 60 years of LASA, the LASA 3Rs section conveners are inviting submissions for spoken presentations on any aspect of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement) to be given at the 2023 LASA Annual Conference, which will be held in person on 21st -23rd November 2023. The LASA 3Rs session is scheduled to take place on Thursday 23rd November from 13:00 – 15:00 (UK time).
We are pleased to announce that alongside the normal bursaries provided by LASA, the NC3Rs have also kindly agreed to sponsor selected abstracts, with a free day of registration and reasonable travel and accommodation costs being provided for all speakers.
Abstracts demonstrating new 3Rs advances that are supported by scientific data are encouraged, with submissions from early career researchers and animal technicians particularly welcomed. If you wish to contribute, please submit a title, and abstract to the LASA Secretariat for consideration no later than 31st August 2023: info@lasa.co.uk
Abstracts should be written in English and not exceed 400 words, excluding the title and the authors’ names and addresses. Please use a Word document when submitting an abstract. The text should be in Arial font, size 10. The title should be in the centre and in bold capital letters (as below).

Speakers selected to give a presentation will be given free registration for the day of their talk and travel expenses reimbursed, free overnight accommodation is also included on request. If selected, you must be available to present in person on Thursday 23rd November 2023, between 13:00-15:00 UK time.
