Save the date! May 2024 marks the 10-year anniversary of the UK’s Concordat on Openness on Animal Research.

To celebrate this important landmark Understanding Animal Research is hosting a first-of-its-kind conference dedicated to openness in animal research on Thursday 2nd May – Friday 3rd May 2024 in the West Midlands.

The Openness in Animal Research Conference is not just for Concordat signatories, it is open to anyone with a professional interest in openness and improving laboratory animal welfare. The conference will be an opportunity to get together, share ideas, and celebrate the achievements of the Concordat.
