The LASA Innovations in the 3Rs and Animal Science section conveners are inviting submissions for spoken presentations on any aspect of innovations in the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement) and animal science to be given at the 2024 LASA Annual Conference, which will be held in person on 18-20 November 2024.

We are pleased to announce that alongside the normal bursaries provided by LASA, the NC3Rs have also kindly agreed to sponsor selected abstracts, with reasonable travel costs being provided for all speakers.

Abstracts demonstrating new innovations in the 3Rs and animal science, that are supported by scientific data, are encouraged. If you wish to contribute, please download the abstract submission form and submit your title and abstract via the event page by 23:59 on Wednesday 31 July 2024.

Abstracts should be written in English and not exceed 400 words, excluding the title and the authors’ names and addresses. Please use a Word document when submitting an abstract. The text should be in Arial font, size 10. The title should be in the centre and in bold capital letters (as below).

Speakers selected to give a presentation will be given free registration for the day of their talk and travel expenses reimbursed. Free overnight accommodation is also included upon request. If selected, you must be available to present in person on Tuesday 19 November from 16:00 – 18:00 (UK time).
