Home Improvements: Looking at Evidence based Refinements
The LASA 3Rs section will be hosting our annual event in person again this year, the theme is evidence based refinements which have led to improvements in animal welfare. The programme will include speakers from all sectors across the UK and EU and will include presentations which have a strong focus on refinement with scientific rigor. Provisional subjects for presentations at the meeting include:
- Home Cage Monitoring
- Increasing the intervals between cage changing
- Male mouse aggression
- Rabbit handling
- Use of Thermographic Camera for non-invasive body temperature measurements.
- Rat playpens
- The role of lighting in animal rooms
