Winter Meeting 2008
This will take place on 19-21 November

Call for papers

  • We will be advertising the themes for the scientific sessions.
  • There is space for one or two additional papers.
  • Papers if accepted may form part of one of the sessions, or be included in a general session as a paper or as a poster.
  • If there are too many oral presentations we may offer a poster as an alternative.
  • If you have a really great idea you want to share now please contact the Meetings Secretary by clicking here
    If your idea is related to one of the LASA sections all the better, alternately you can suggest a subject that you think needs to be discussed.

Winter meeting 2007
This took place on 21-23 November on the south-coast. The meeting attracted the largest trade show to date in the history of LASA meetings and also the greatest number of delegates. A more comprehensive report will be inserted shortly....

Winter Meeting 2006
This took place on 29th and 30th November and 1st December. The excellent venue in Central Scotland offered the opportunity to welcome the largest trade exhibition yet to be held at a LASA meeting and the trade responded accordingly. A substantial scientific programme informed the biggest audience of delegates to date, and a number of parallel sessions ensured that there were topics to meet most interests amongst LASA's diverse membership.

Meeting 2005
The Winter Meeting 2005 was held on Wednesday 30 November, Thursday 1 December, Friday 2 December. The venue, in the Midlands, offered extensive accommodation and a unique resort which was appreciated by all who attended. A busy scientific programme was offered to the delegate, organised by the Section Convenors. The trade exhibition covered a greater area than in previous years and the meeting was well-supported by a diverse collection of companies, some old friends, others new to LASA.

The meeting in 2004 was held from 24th to the 26th of November, attendance figures exceeded previous years and the meeting received excellent support from trade exhibitors
